Submissions are now open for the 2020 LOCO London Comedy Film Festival, now a BAFTA-qualifying festival for shorts, set to return to BFI Southbank in the Spring (dates tbc).
LOCO is the UK’s only international comedy film festival, and celebrates the world’s most original comedy cinema. We’re always looking for exciting new voices in comedy, and particularly welcome submissions from under-represented filmmakers, including BAME, LGBTQI+, women, refugees and new arrivals, those with physical and mental disabilities or conditions, those over 50 years old, those on low incomes, working parents and those living in other regions across the UK.
Our Earlybird is still open until October 13th 2019, with the final deadline for submissions January 5th 2020. We will make no exceptions to these timings, however well crafted and emotionally manipulative your excuses may be at the time.
