SHORTS
SUNDAY

Blue Room, BFI Southbank | 10:00 – 21:00

Join us at BFI Southbank for a day-long celebration of the best new British comedy shorts.

Comedy shorts take over on the final day of the festival as we screen three programmes packed with the best new films from our open submissions. We’ve always been excited by the possibilities in comedy filmmaking and this year’s selection demonstrates the remarkable range of styles, techniques and themes that can be used to make us laugh. If you want to experience truly unique and imaginative cinema then join us for one minute marvels, beautiful animations, insightful documentaries, thoughtful comedy dramas and plenty of utter silliness.

Share projects, stories and contacts with your fellow filmmakers. Join us throughout the day in the Blue Room, kicking off with our annual filmmakers’ brunch. With short films screening all day next door in NFT3, it’s the perfect opportunity to share your work and to meet the right collaborators to get your next project off the ground.
