Our annual screening for families returns with a selection of silent comedy classics with a live introduction, entertainment and music. We’ll look at silent comedy and slapstick techniques, how music affects what makes us laugh, and introduce some of the greatest names in British and Hollywood silent film.

An Eastern Westerner (1920)
The original chap about town Harold Lloyd plays a young party boy packed off to the wild west to learn the value of hard work on his uncle’s ranch. Unfortunately he doesn’t quite fit in in a town where ‘it’s considered bad form to shoot the same man twice in the same day’.
